Star City Cast Expands with Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies, and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis
"Star City," the upcoming Apple TV+ spinoff of "For All Mankind," has added three new actors to its lead cast.
Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies, and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis join the previously announced cast members Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Solly McLeod, Agnes O'Casey, and Alice Englert.
Nagaitis will portray Valya, a highly regarded cosmonaut in the Soviet Space program. Davies will play Sergei, a bright young engineer at Soviet Ground Control. Ashbourne Serkis will depict Tanya, the wife of a cosmonaut navigating the confines of Star City.
"Star City" retells the history of the space race from a Soviet perspective, focusing on the lives of cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers involved in the program.
The series hails from "For All Mankind" creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi, with Wolpert and Nedivi serving as showrunners and executive producers. Moore executive produces via his Tall Ship Productions banner alongside Maril Davis, Steve Oster, and Andrew Chambliss. Sony Pictures Television is the studio behind the project.
