Mia Goth Joins Cast of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey"

Scream queen Mia Goth has been added to the star-studded cast of Christopher Nolan's upcoming IMAX epic, "The Odyssey." The film, inspired by Homer's ancient Greek epic, will follow the epic journey of Odysseus as he navigates the world in search of his homeland after the Trojan War.

Goth joins a renowned ensemble that includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Jon Bernthal, and John Leguizamo. The film promises to bring Homer's classic saga to life on IMAX screens for the first time, showcasing groundbreaking cinematography captured with cutting-edge IMAX film technology.

Nolan, known for his visionary filmmaking and acclaimed works like "The Dark Knight" trilogy and "Inception," serves as writer, director, and producer of "The Odyssey," alongside his wife Emma Thomas as producer under their Syncopy banner.

Goth, renowned for her captivating performances in horror films, has recently led the cast of Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein." Her credits include "A Cure for Wellness," "Suspiria," "Infinity Pool," and Ti West's "X" trilogy ("MaXXXine," "Pearl," "X").

"The Odyssey" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2026. Filming is expected to commence in Spring and will take place partially in Sicily, a key location in Odysseus's epic wanderings.
