Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu Reunite with Demi Moore to Celebrate Her Oscar Nomination

In a recent video interview with Vanity Fair, former "Charlie's Angels" co-stars Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu reunited with Demi Moore to discuss Moore's Oscar-nominated performance in "The Substance."

Moore faced off against the trio in the 2003 film "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," playing the villainous former Angel known as Madison Lee. This Vanity Fair interview marks the first time all four actresses have reunited since Liu's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2019.

"I think I can speak for all of us—we are so proud of you," Liu said to Moore. "This performance showcases the depth you've always possessed in all your work. It exudes a raw vulnerability that balances the strength you portray on screen."

Liu continued, "The scene where you remove your makeup and reveal the psychological toll of society's unattainable beauty standards is particularly poignant. You captured the essence of insecurity, self-acceptance, and the discomfort others experience with these vulnerabilities."

Moore's performance as Elizabeth Sparkle in "The Substance" has garnered critical acclaim. She has won a Golden Globe and received nominations for an Oscar, Critics Choice Award, BAFTA, and Screen Actors Guild Award.

"All women are conditioned to be objectified," Diaz told Moore. "It's a societal norm that extends beyond our profession as movie stars. You've shattered the unwritten code that has governed the film industry for decades. You've rewritten the rules with audacious and thought-provoking storytelling."

"The Substance," written and directed by Coralie Fargeat, won Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival and is now nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
