Kevin Spacey Fires Back at Guy Pearce's Accusations

Kevin Spacey has responded to Guy Pearce's recent allegations against him, releasing a video statement challenging Pearce's claims.

Pearce recently stated that Spacey "targeted" him on the set of "L.A. Confidential," calling him "quite an aggressive man." Spacey has vehemently denied these claims.

In his video response, Spacey expresses disappointment that Pearce chose to air their issues publicly. He questions Pearce's motives and suggests that he may have spoken out for attention. Spacey also alleges that Pearce visited him on another film set after "L.A. Confidential," indicating that their relationship was not as negative as Pearce claims.

"Did you tell the press that a year after we shot 'L.A. Confidential' you flew to Savannah, Georgia, while I was shooting 'Midnight in the Valley of Good and Evil' just to spend time with me?" Spacey asks. "Or does that not fit into the victim narrative you have going?"

Spacey emphasizes that he is willing to discuss the situation with Pearce privately and suggests they even do so on live television. However, he firmly believes that Pearce needs to "grow up" and stop playing the victim.

Spacey's denial comes amidst a series of sexual misconduct allegations against him that have effectively ended his Hollywood career. He has been cleared of several charges but faces ongoing legal challenges.

Despite his legal and professional setbacks, Spacey has received support from some notable figures in the entertainment industry, including Sharon Stone, Liam Neeson, and Brian Cox. They have expressed their belief that Spacey is a talented actor and that he should be given a chance to work again.
