Sony Pictures Classics has purchased North American rights to Rebecca Zlotowski's "Vie Privée," starring Jodie Foster. The murder mystery follows Foster as psychiatrist Lilian Steiner, who investigates the death of one of her patients. Foster speaks fluent French and last starred in a French-language film 20 years ago. "Vie Privée" is Zlotowski's first deal with Sony Pictures Classics.
