Sony Pictures Classics Acquires Rebecca Zlotowski's "Vie Privée" at Berlin Film Festival

Berlin, Germany - Sony Pictures Classics (SPC) has secured North American rights to Rebecca Zlotowski's upcoming murder mystery "Vie Privée," starring Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster. The deal also covers key territories in Latin America.

"Vie Privée," currently in post-production, will likely make its world premiere on the festival circuit. Foster stars as renowned psychiatrist Lilian Steiner, who embarks on a private investigation into the mysterious death of one of her patients. This marks Foster's first French-language film role in over two decades since "A Very Long Engagement" in 2002.

Zlotowski, known for her critically acclaimed films, makes her debut collaboration with Sony Pictures Classics with "Vie Privée." The film features additional renowned actors, including Tatiana Rojo, Pierre Niney, and Louis-Do de Lencquesaing.
