Joey Arbagey Joins 19 Entertainment as Executive Vice President of Music
Sony Pictures Television's 19 Entertainment has appointed Joey Arbagey as Executive Vice President of Music. Arbagey joins 19 Entertainment from Epic Records, where he spent a decade as Executive VP of A&R. He will oversee the music division associated with "American Idol."
Arbagey will support the music division, supervising 19 Recordings, 19 Publishing, and 19 Management, as well as related partnerships with distribution partner BMG. He will report to Eli Holzman and Rachel Dax, SPT Nonfiction's President and Executive VP of Production, respectively.
Holzman and Dax said, "We are thrilled to welcome Joey to our team as we strive to evolve our music division to meet the needs of artists in today's music industry."
Arbagey added, "I am honored to join Eli, Aaron, and Rachel and the rest of the 19 Entertainment team, particularly at this time."
During his tenure at Epic Records, Arbagey oversaw the creative campaigns for artists including Camila Cabello, Mariah Carey, John K, and Eddie Benjamin.
