Mike Myers Revives Linda Richman in 'SNL' 50th Anniversary Special

During "Saturday Night Live's" milestone 50th-anniversary celebration, Mike Myers made a grand return as the iconic Linda Richman. First introduced in 1991's "Coffee Talk" sketches, Myers' character is based on his former mother-in-law.

Richman, a middle-aged New Yorker, hosts "Coffee Talk" and elicits laughs with her signature accent and wit. Initially, the sketch featured Paul Baldwin, who was later replaced by Richman.

In the anniversary special, Myers reprised Richman in "Bronx Beat with Betty and Jodi," alongside Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph. After Teller, the guest host, exits the stage, Richman bursts in with her signature "Is somebody talking about coffee?" line.

Jodi and Betty inquire about Paul Baldwin, and Richman delivers a somber update: Baldwin is hospitalized in the city after being flown in from Florida. Richman then discloses that she is also experiencing health issues.

Amidst the emotional revelations, Richman abruptly announces, "Bad news, it's raining. But good news, it's sweata weatha'! My favorite weatha, sweata weatha!"
