Long Bright River: Amanda Seyfried Returns to Lead in New Mystery Series

Based on the bestselling novel by Liz Moore, "Long Bright River" follows the gripping story of Mickey (Amanda Seyfried), a Philadelphia police officer grappling with the opioid crisis in her own community.

As three girls are found dead, Mickey's personal past collides with the investigation, forcing her to confront her own struggles. The trailer showcases the tense atmosphere as Mickey faces suspicion and questions about her connection to the case.

Joining Seyfried in the cast are John Doman, Nicholas Pinnock, Ashleigh Cummings, and Callum Vinson. Guest stars include Dash Mihok, Britne Oldford, and Matthew Del Negro. Hagar Ben-Asher helms the direction of the first and fifth episodes.

"Long Bright River" is a joint production by Sony Pictures Television and UCP. Nikki Toscano, Liz Moore, and Amanda Seyfried serve as executive producers alongside Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Amy Pascal, and Russell Rothberg.

All eight episodes of this limited mystery series will debut exclusively on Peacock on March 13.
