Howie Mandel Apologizes to Bill Burr after Awkward Podcast Moment

Los Angeles, CA - Howie Mandel has issued an apology to Bill Burr after an uncomfortable interaction between Burr and Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Billy Corgan on Mandel's "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast.

During the now-infamous episode, Mandel surprised Burr with Corgan as a guest. Corgan mentioned his stepmother's inquiries about Burr, suggesting a possible familial connection.

Burr expressed his discomfort with the situation, leading to a heated exchange. In a subsequent appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show," Burr criticized Mandel's handling of the matter.

In a recent episode of "Does Stuff," Mandel expressed regret for his actions: "I feel horrible. I'm sorry, Bill. I'm sorry, Billy. I only tried to do something good."

"I thought it was funny," Mandel continued. "I should be proud of that? I'm not. If Bill feels bad, I feel bad."

Burr has not publicly responded to Mandel's apology.
