The 158-minute film showcases a captivating performance from Zimmer, his band, and orchestra, performing iconic tracks from films like "Dune," "The Lion King," "Gladiator," and "Interstellar" in breathtaking locations such as Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena and Al Wasl Plaza dome at Expo City Dubai.
Not only does the film capture the live performance, but it also delves into the behind-the-scenes process with interviews featuring Billie Eilish, Finneas, Johnny Marr (from the "No Time to Die" collaboration), Christopher Nolan, Jerry Bruckheimer, Pharrell Williams, Tanya Lapointe, and the stars of "Dune": Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Denis Villeneuve.
Paul Dugdale, who directed the film, is renowned for helming numerous theatrical music films, including "Coldplay: Music of the Spheres," "Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium," and "Adele: One Night Only."
Simon Fisher, Steven Kofsky, Michael Marto, Omar Saab, and John Featherstone produced the film. Trafalgar will distribute the film globally, excluding the Middle East, where Vox will handle distribution.
"The Hans Zimmer Live tour has been an extraordinary journey," said Zimmer in a statement. I trust the audience will find this cinematic experience as captivating as we did in creating it."
