In the music industry's biggest night, the 2025 Grammys honor some of the world's most prominent musicians. After taking home three Grammys for best rap performance, best rap song, and best music video, Compton-born rapper Kendrick Lamar added another 20 Grammys at last night’s ceremony to his total of 20 wins. During the Premiere Ceremony, which took place before the main telecast on Sunday night, Lamar's victories were announced. Lamar's producer, DJ Mustard, accepted the accolades on his behalf as the audience in the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles erupted in thunderous applause. Along with record of the year and song of the year, the song "Not Like Us" is also up for the night's most coveted prizes. Beyoncé received the most Grammy nominations—11—for her country album "Cowboy Carter," a career-high. She has a chance to win in categories including record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, as well as country album, song, duo performance, and more. With seven nods each, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX come in second, followed by Tayor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter with six each.
