U.K. outfit Blue Finch Films Acquires Global Sales Rights to Supernatural Horror-Thriller "Bury the Devil"

Blue Finch Films has secured worldwide sales rights for "Bury the Devil," a one-take supernatural horror thriller recently completed in Canada.

The home invasion tale follows a nurse who uncovers sinister secrets hidden by her newest patient. Written by John Petrizzi and Brad Hodson, the film is produced by seasoned genre experts Philip Kalin-Hajdu and Benoit Beaulieu.

Director Adam O'Brien boldly opted for a single-take approach to heighten tension. "This film showcases the most harrowing 90 minutes of our protagonist's existence, and I believed that a single-shot approach would convey this experience most viscerally," O'Brien explains. "We accompany her every step and misstep as the mystery unfolds and the horror unfurls. It's an exhilarating, twist-filled rollercoaster that reimagines exorcism."

The film is the latest from independent production company Delirium Pictures and is expected to premiere at a prestigious festival in late 2025.

Blue Finch Films recently acquired worldwide sales rights (excluding Australia and New Zealand) for the acclaimed animated feature "Lesbian Space Princess," set to debut at the Berlin Film Festival's Panorama section. Their upcoming lineup also features "825 Forest Road" from the "Hell House LLC" team, Sitges victor "Zero" by Jean Luc Herbulot, and Indonesian horror "The Draft!" showcased at Fantastic Fest.
