97th Academy Awards Nominee Photo Opportunity

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is providing an exclusive gathering for all nominees of this year's Oscars to capture the iconic class photo.

Originally scheduled to be taken at the Oscars Nominees Luncheon, the event was canceled due to wildfire devastation. To ensure fair recognition, the Academy will host a special gathering during Oscar week at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

In addition to the group photo, nominees will attend intimate dinners based on their categories. These pre-Oscars traditions offer a personalized celebration of individual achievements.

While the gathering will not include the traditional name reading, it honors the Oscars' legacy while adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

This year's nominees encompass a blend of commercial hits, independent films, and critically acclaimed performances. Jacques Audiard's "Emilia Pérez" leads with 13 nominations, followed by "The Brutalist" and "Wicked" with 10 each.

13 first-time acting nominees join the ranks, alongside five nominated directors, reflecting the Academy's commitment to recognizing emerging talent.

The Academy's efforts to preserve its traditions during adversity demonstrate its unwavering support for the cinematic arts and its commitment to celebrating its artists.
