Vienna-Based Sales Agency Autlook Acquires "Only on Earth" Ahead of Berlinale Premiere

Vienna-based sales agency Autlook has secured the distribution rights to Robin Petré's timely feature documentary "Only on Earth" before its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Immersive Journey into Europe's Wildfire Zone

The film takes viewers on an immersive odyssey through Southern Galicia, a region of exceptional natural beauty but also one of Europe's most vulnerable wildfire zones. During the sweltering summer of record-breaking temperatures, both humans and wildlife struggle to survive as unyielding wildfires approach.

Wild Horses and Human Development: A Delicate Balance

Wild horses have long roamed the Galician mountains, playing a pivotal role in wildfire prevention. However, their presence is diminishing as human development encroaches on nature, threatening the region's delicate ecological equilibrium.

A Reflection on Nature and Humanity

"Only on Earth" explores the intricate interplay between our natural world and the human-animal relationship. Through the lens of a young cowboy, a seasoned fire analyst, a dedicated equine veterinarian, and a farming family, the film captures the urgency of our changing environment and encourages viewers to reflect on our impact on nature's delicate balance.

International Collaboration

The film is a collaborative effort between Hansen & Pedersen in Denmark, Polar Star Films in Spain, and MAX in Spain. It has received support from various film institutions and broadcasters, including the Danish Film Institute, ICEC, and Nordisk Film & TV Fond.

Global Release Planned

Autlook CEO Stephanie Fuchs expressed her admiration for the film's artistry and timeliness. She emphasized Autlook's commitment to bringing the film to audiences worldwide.
