The Chosen Season 5 Premieres in Theaters with Annie Leibovitz's Key Art

As "The Chosen" Season 5 gears up for its theatrical debut next month, creator and executive producer Dallas Jenkins has unveiled three captivating key art posters captured by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Jenkins and series star Jonathan Roumie showcased the posters at a press tour stop in New York City's Times Square. The posters represent the three parts of Season 5, titled "The Chosen: Last Summer," which will be released by 5&2 Studios in theaters across the U.S. and Canada starting March 28.

"Leibovitz's exceptional work tells stories in a matter of seconds, revealing deeper layers upon closer examination," Jenkins stated. "We strive to portray some of the most iconic figures who have ever lived, with their human complexities and emotions. In this season, where all these elements converge, we felt compelled to collaborate with someone like Leibovitz to convey this experience visually."

Tickets for Season 5 go on sale this Friday, February 14. The series will be released in three parts over a four-week period: Part 1 (Episodes 1 and 2), Part 2 (Episodes 3, 4, and 5), and Part 3 (Episodes 6, 7, and 8). "The Chosen: Last Supper" Part 1 will expand to more than 40 additional territories, including Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Philippines, and India, on April 10.

Season 5 will make its streaming debut later in 2025.

The logline for "The Chosen: Last Supper" reads: "The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival. Their power threatened, the country's religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus' last."

Leibovitz commented, "I deeply admire Dallas Jenkins' work. He is a true visionary capturing the essence of the Bible for our time."
