Catherine Zeta-Jones to Star in 'Kill Jackie' Revenge Thriller Series
Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to headline "Kill Jackie" (working title), a new revenge thriller series from Prime Video, Fremantle, and Steel Springs Pictures. Based on Nick Harkaway's novel "The Price You Pay," the show begins production in March.
Zeta-Jones portrays Jackie Price, a wealthy and anonymous former international cocaine dealer haunted by her past. When hired assassins target her, she unleashes her old instincts to take them down. However, her own inner demons prove more formidable than the relentless killers, leading her on a dangerous journey that uncovers buried secrets and unexpected consequences.
Production and Distribution
The TV adaptation is created by Conor Keane, directed by Damon Thomas, and written and showrun by Tom Butterworth. Zeta-Jones serves as an executive producer alongside Peter Lawson, Jose Augustin Valdes, Dante Di Loreto, Jeffrey Levine, and Butterworth.
"Kill Jackie" will stream on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Canada. Fremantle will handle sales in all other territories except the US, which will be spearheaded by Steel Springs Pictures.
