Freaks Factory and Ka-Ching Cartoons Join “The Growcodile” as Co-Production Partners

Co-Production Partners Join 'The Growcodile' for Theatrical Release

Belgian animation studio Freaks Factory and Dutch studio Ka-Ching Cartoons have joined as co-production partners for "The Growcodile," a CG animated family film slated for release in late 2023.

Exclusive Sneak Peek and Pre-Sales

Sales agency Film Constellation has unveiled an exclusive still and teaser for the film during the European Film Market. "The Growcodile" has secured pre-sale deals in numerous territories, including Poland, Eastern Europe, CIS and Baltics, Portugal, Greece and Israel, Turkey and MENA, Vietnam, and France.

Heartwarming Storyline

The film follows Bridget, a young girl with a secret pet crocodile that she conceals in her room. As the crocodile grows, hiding it becomes increasingly challenging. Bridget and her grandmother embark on an adventure to find a suitable home for Gilbert the Crocodile.

Talented Creative Team

Directed by Joost Van Den Bosch and Erik Verkerk, alumni of Cartoon Saloon, "The Growcodile" is based on the children's book by Paul Van Loon. The film is produced by Fabrique d'Images, Freaks Factory, Ka-Ching Cartoons, Cool Beans, and Fantabulous.

Strategic Partnerships

Fantabulous is a joint venture between KMBO and Fabrique d'Images. Freaks Factory is a collaboration between Frakas Prods. and Fabrique d'Images. The film also marks the second partnership between Film Constellation and the trio of Fabrique D'images, Freaks Factory, and Fantabulous, after their previous collaboration on "The Last Dinosaur."
