CPH:FORUM Announces Lineup of Documentary Projects for 2023

CPH:FORUM, the financing and co-production arm of documentary festival CPH:DOX, has revealed its lineup of projects, including those by highly acclaimed directors and producers.

New Section: CPH:ROUGHCUT

CPH:FORUM introduces CPH:ROUGHCUT, showcasing five projects in rough cut stage seeking distribution, sales, buyers, festival premieres, and other forms of exhibition.

Awards and Prizes:

* Sandbox Films Science Pitch Prize: Recognizes an outstanding science documentary project for innovation, artistic merit, and inclusivity.
* Al Jazeera Documentary Channel Co-Production Award: €10,000 prize for a FORUM project addressing urgent matters of our time.
* Eurimages Innovation Award: €20,000 for an innovative project in development with international cooperation potential.
* Outreach Award: €30,000 for an independent production or director for an innovative project at the end or post-production, aiming to engage audiences and promote experimental projects.
* Rise and Shine Award: €3,000 for the best pitch project with international potential and no sales agent attached.
* Unifrance/Titrafilm Doc Award: €5,500 in benefits for the best French production or co-production presented.

Attendance and Collaborations:

Over 200 financiers and industry representatives have confirmed their attendance. CPH:FORUM collaborates with IMS (International Media Support), EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), and Al Jazeera Documentary Channel.
