Hildur: International Rights Acquired by Cineflix Rights

London-based Cineflix Rights has secured the international distribution rights for the premium crime series "Hildur," currently in production in Iceland. The six-part series, predominantly in English, is based on Satu Rämö's bestselling novel "Hildur," a Nordic Blue genre phenomenon.

Synopsis

Set in the remote Westfjords region of Iceland, "Hildur" follows Detective Hildur (Ebba Katrín Finnsdóttir) as she grapples with the 25-year-old disappearance of her sisters. Amidst a series of baffling crimes, she uncovers long-buried secrets with the assistance of her unconventional colleagues: Jakob (Lauri Tilkanen), a Finnish trainee known for his knitting skills, and Florian (Rick Okon), a German recruit assigned to the team by mistake.
