CBS Gives 'Hollywood Squares' Daytime Showcase to Boost Exposure

CBS is utilizing a vacant afternoon timeslot to showcase its primetime game show, "Hollywood Squares." Starting Monday, January 27th, and running through Friday, January 31st, "Hollywood Squares" will air daily at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT/PT, formerly the timeslot occupied by "The Talk."

This daytime showcase provides CBS with an opportunity to reach a broader audience for "Hollywood Squares." The show will air repeats of its first four episodes throughout the week, with Friday's episodes being the same as Monday's.

The week-long programming stunt coincides with CBS's recent schedule changes for its Wednesday game night, which includes moving "Hollywood Squares" to a new time slot at 8 p.m. ET starting January 29th.

Hosted by Nate Burleson, "Hollywood Squares" features celebrities answering trivia questions with humorous twists. Jesse Collins Entertainment and Flower Films produce the show.
