ACLU's Commitment

"At the ACLU, we employ various strategies, including legal action, legislative advocacy, and cultural engagement, to reach hearts and minds," said Jessica Weitz, nationwide director of artist and entertainment engagement at the ACLU. "We recognize the distressing reality portrayed in 'A Lien.' Through impact campaigns like this, we provide a glimpse into the plight faced by immigrants in our country, humanizing their experiences to drive systemic change."
