The Associated Press is suing three Trump administration officials for the White House's ban on the news organization's access to presidential events. The ban was imposed because the AP refused to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America," which is what President Trump ordered the body of water to be henceforth called. The AP says the ban violates the First and Fifth Amendments and is asking a court to order the Trump officials to "immediately rescind" their denial of the AP's access.
